Dr Licia Greyling

General Practitioner

Dr Licia Greyling joined Hills Medical Centre as a General Practitioner with a strong commitment to comprehensive, patient-centred primary healthcare.

She grew up in Gauteng and completed her medical degree at the University of Pretoria before working across public healthcare, obstetrics, surgery and general medicine. Her experience has shaped a practical and empathetic approach to patient care.

Dr Greyling places a strong emphasis on preventative healthcare, chronic disease screening, chronic disease management and thoughtful follow-up care. She believes in helping patients understand their health clearly so they can take an active role in long-term wellbeing.

Outside of medicine, Dr Greyling enjoys spending time outdoors and on the hiking trails, birdwatching, running and exploring the natural beauty of South Africa.

Kayla van Heerden

Dermal Aesthetician & Practice Manager

Kayla van Heerden is a qualified Dermal Aesthetician and Practice Manager at Clear Aesthetics, where she plays an integral role in both the clinical and operational development of the practice. She completed her Somatology qualification at the Isa Carstens Academy and further advanced her education by obtaining an NQF Level 7 qualification in Dermal Aesthetics, equipping her with advanced clinical knowledge in skin health and aesthetic treatments.

Kayla works closely alongside Dr. Smit to help develop and grow Clear Aesthetics into a results-driven, patient-centred aesthetic practice. Together they combine medical expertise with advanced dermal aesthetic care to provide comprehensive, personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

A key part of Kayla’s clinical approach is the use of advanced skin analysis technology to objectively evaluate each patient’s skin condition. This allows her to design holistic, evidence-guided treatment protocols that address underlying skin concerns and support long-term, real-life results rather than temporary improvements.

Kayla has a particular interest in skin rejuvenation, pigmentation management, acne treatment, and scar revision. She specialises in advanced aesthetic procedures including laser treatments, medical-grade chemical peels, microneedling, and customised professional skincare protocols.

She has extensive experience working with internationally recognised medical skincare brands including SkinCeuticals, Heliocare, NeoStrata, RégimA, Meline, DeCoded Skin, Biretix, and ISDIN, allowing her to design targeted skincare programmes that support and enhance in-clinic treatments.

Passionate about excellence in aesthetic medicine, Kayla remains dedicated to continuous professional development. She actively pursues ongoing education and training to stay at the forefront of innovations in dermal aesthetics, ensuring her patients receive safe, effective, and evidence-based care.

Micky Nieuwoudt

Receptionist and Practice Manager

Micky Nieuwoudt is the friendly face many patients meet first at Hills Medical Centre. With extensive experience as a medical receptionist, she helps ensure every patient feels welcomed, supported and guided from the moment they arrive.

Her passion for people and strong organisational skills help keep the practice running smoothly. Micky is dedicated to creating a warm, efficient and reassuring experience for every patient interaction.
